We all have a past, some good, some bad, but we all have a past and if you allow the negative aspects of your past to stifle you, to stop you from leading a life of love, the only person you are hurting is yourself.
Playing the victim does not serve you or your loved ones.
There is a saying that I’m very fond of.
Yesterday is the past … tomorrow is a mystery and today … today is a gift … that’s why they call it the Present.
Learn from your past, learn from the trials and tribulations that you have gone through, but don’t live their, visit once and while, remember the good times and let go of the bad, it does not serve you. It’s all about choices we have a choice to stay stuck in the past and focus on the negative things that have been brought to us or we have a choice to move forward to live for today, and prepare today for our future. Let’s hope that it’s a long and joyful one.
I have a choice, I have a choice to represent myself as a victim or I have a choice to represent myself as a leader, to inspire. To inspire men and women to take action, nothing is accomplished without action. I would not be where I am today if I did not take action a year and a half ago. I took action by leaving a marriage of 18 years that did not serve me, I cannot live in fear and intimidation. I would not be where I am today and moving forward if I did not take action to start university, to do this website, to it’s by applying action that gets you where you want to go, not by thinking about it.
Please, don’t misunderstand, don’t ever think that it’s easy, the greatest things in life comes with struggle and decision making.
The best decision is the right one,
the second-best is the wrong one,
the worst is not to make one, but it is still a decision, which is yours to make
I’ve never made the worst decision.
